Example in Pokemon Yellow if the player does not capture a nidoran or nidorina they often restart and try again because without this the run is hopeless. You may notice that in speedruns if/when the runner messes up a "first checkpoint" they often quit and restart the run.
Your playstyle will make a big difference in things like hotkeys and skills. Record your builds and your times and what items you found and do some comparisons. My best advice given that you are going to be rusty as fuck:Ĭhallenge yourself to see what the best time you can kill Andy in is.
